In the early '70s, Cathy Rush became the head basketball coach at a tiny, all-girls Catholic college. Though her team had no gym or uniforms, and the school was in danger of being sold, Coach Rush steered her girls towards the national championship.

Not a bad movie, but I didn't love it. The plot was alright, but there were some parts that were a little too slow for my taste. I think I may have been expecting more because the library user ratings are so high. I would reccommend others to try to watch this movie with no expectations, and you may enjoy it more than I did?
Gives a new perspective to how hard women have fought to be respected as athletes. Makes me wonder why Abbotsford would want a lingerie league after seeing this.
What a wonderful movie! It's based on a true story, and gives a look at what people thought of women working in the early seventies. Even if basketball isn't your thing, it's a great underdog story. Besides, how cool is it to find something G-rated for adults?
A very good heart-warming movie. Go Macs! I wonder what it was really like being one of the players on the team.
