Add a CommentA great movie for kids. Full of action and adventure. I thought it was going to be appealing to adults, too, (like Shrek) but it's targeted for kids mostly.
storyline could have been better but it was really funny, Puss in-boots and Kitty soft-paw are my favorites!
AMAZING!!!!!!! :D
It was cute. Perhaps more suited for children. The animation was terrific, especially Humpty's expressions. Then again, they're all animated incredibly these days. That's a given. The story was kind of thin. I got a laugh out of Jack and Jill redneck.
Entertaining enough, with some nice moments, but nothing too special.
The storyline was LAME, but I liked the movie for the humor and because, well I really like puss in boots, the ending reminded me of Zorro.
Coming from the Shrek franchise, this is disappointing. There is some creativity in the schticks (like dancing in air), but the main storyline is banal, and the banter has very little wit. Cartoons are, after all, children's fare, for the most part. It's just that this one has nothing to keep the adults entertained while the kids watch.
I am a huge Puss in Boots fan but I was disappointed in this movie. I found the story line uninteresting and didn't find Puss in Boots either very funny or charming as he was in Shrek 2.
I watched this with my cat and she seemed to like it.
Good - Puss and Boots (2011) 90 min. [Animated/CGI]. The folks over at Dreamworks came up with a real winner in Puss and Boots. Stunning animation and cinematography, clever storyline and sharp dialogue (which may not be relevant for the little ones) will provide all the laughs and entertainment expected in 90 minutes. Nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 2012 Oscars. Antonio Banderas is perfect providing the voice of Puss and Boots.
