All three have been venerated for decades by Israel because of the secret mission that they embarked on for their country back in 1965-1966, when the trio tracked down Nazi war criminal Dieter Vogel, the feared Surgeon of Birkenau, in East Berlin. At great risk, and at considerable personal cost, the team's mission was accomplished - or was it?

Decent job at balancing tension and decisions of morality.
Not believable. I found the action scenes between the elder spies especially fantastic. A wrestling match between a 70 year old and a 90 year old? And this is the climax?! Ridiculous letdown, especially with such a fine cast. The lead up is strong but the ending is a bust.
A very big let down. The story was good but the ending was totally out of character. The characters themselves were not developed and though they were all "trained" at the end of the day they behaved like catty amateurs bikering amongst themselves... I guess the movie had to justify it being so many minutes long. Very disappointing.
If you like suspense and spy thrillers, this movie is a winner. Not "big action", more of a pyscho-drama thriller, with enough plot twists and turns to keep things interesting. Compelling story line, good acting.
Sorry, but this is yet another film where you wonder what the point is. Some great acting--what else do you expect from Helen Mirren--but to what end? OK, she redeems herself. It still leaves a lot of loose ends ...
Mirren and Wilkinson aren't as strong as you might hope in this film (am mostly thinking about the British accents that came through) but it's still well worth watching for a look at the history and the ideas.
The movie started but overall it became a descent spy thriller. The story follows a trio of Israeli spy agents on a mission to kill a Nazi war criminal who practices as a surgeon in East Berlin. However, years pass and the perpetrator is still at large and Rachel must stop him at all costs. To conclude, this movie's plot was good, added with some sharp twists and turns along the way.
Interesting spy movie with a twist. Strong cast, good acting. Overall entertaining. But now the reputation of the Mossad as the elite of the elite of spies is ruined.
I thought it was a decent movie. A little hard to follow for awhile, but things came together as time went on. It was worth the 2 hours invested.
